In the first quarter of 2025, the tower defense genre on Android in Italy saw varied performance among the top titles, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

TDS - Tower Destiny Survive from SayGames Ltd showed a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at about $352 in mid-January before declining to $142 by the end of March. Downloads saw a high of 8.7K in early February and closed the quarter with 4.8K. Active users increased from 9.2K to a peak of 21.4K in early February, ending the quarter around 19.2K.

Plants vs. Zombies™ by ELECTRONIC ARTS had consistent weekly revenue, maintaining around $68 at the start and fluctuating slightly to $58 by the end of March. Downloads began at 5K and tapered to 2.6K. Active users saw a decline from 20.1K to 15.6K over the quarter.
